Maria Assunta Schittino passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on August 14, 1935, Maria resided in Abingdon, Maryland. Beloved wife of the late Narciso Schittino; devoted father of Giuseppe Schittino and his wife Barbara “Basia” Kijak-Schittino, and the late Rosalia Fallin-Schittino; loving grandmother of Danielle Lynn Falllin, and David Edward Narciso Schittino. Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Maria was preceded by her parents and siblings.
A visitation will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD, 21014, on October 5, 2025; 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
A graveside service will take place at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E Padonia Rd, Timonium, MD, 21093, on October 6, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
