Mary Christine Ackerman, age 89, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. Beloved wife of Robert Karl Ackerman; devoted mother of Robert Ackerman and his wife Jacqueline, Mary Christine McKay and her husband Victor, Katherine Brashear and her husband William, and Richard Ackerman; loving grandmother of Michael Ackerman, Robert Kelbaugh, Jamee Harris, Alyssa Harris, and the late Diana Devereaux; cherish great grandmother of Kara and Kadyn.
A visitation for Mary will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM at St Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1450 Abingdon Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009. A private burial will take place at Crownsville Veteran Cemetery.
