Mary Edna Hippensteel (nee Miller), age 89, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Mary was born in Maryland. Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Hippensteel; devoted daughter to the late David L. and Edna L. Miller; loving mother of Joseph Wehner and wife Tammy, Jay Wehner and wife Wendy, and Jesse Wehner and wife Beverly; dear grandmother of Jenna Ferber, Jesse Wehner, and Kimberly Wood; great grandmother of Juliette, Olivia, and Emmett; sister of the late Liela Button, and David Miller, Sr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mary loved people, and she loved to sing and dance. Enjoying singing with the Upper Chesapeake Sweet Adelines and the Brightview Enlightens. She enjoyed her wonderful friends and neighbors. Her love for her wonderful Shih-tzu dogs Brandi and the late Maggie were endless. Their bond was very strong, and she considered Maggie her a guardian angel.
A visitation for Mary will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. At which time prayers will begin at 3:30 PM to conclude the services.
