Mary Louise Angelino, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on September 23, 2025. Born on February 10, 1937, Mary Louise was a dedicated wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved helping others.
Mary Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Angelino, who passed away in February 2025. She is survived by her three children: Brian Reilly, Sharon Kardia, and Lisa Grove; two step-children: Christopher Angelino, Liz Angelino; five cherished grandchildren: Hannah, Joe, David, Sonia, and Nolan; and two precious great-grandchildren: Laiya and Xander.
A lifelong Maryland resident, Mary Louise was proud of her deep family roots in the state, belonging to the Arnold and Englar families who immigrated from Europe in the 1700's and settled in Frederick and Carol County, Maryland (respectively). This rich heritage was an important part of her deep love of Maryland and its history.
Mary Louise had a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms. She earned her bachelor's degree from the Maryland Institute of Art, which reflected her lifelong passion for the arts, architecture and design. Her love of gardens took her to beautiful spaces wherever she traveled, always appreciating nature's artistry and majesty. Though generally a quiet and thoughtful person, Mary Louise was known for her wonderful sense of humor especially in hard times.
Memories of her life live on through the love she shared with her family and the artistic eye she brought to everything she touched. Mary Louise's gentle spirit, creative soul, and warm laughter will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held on October 4th at 1:00 PM at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 West McPhail Road, Bel Air, MD 21014.
