I remember Mike as a county cop not a state trooper he worked the Essex pct he decided to leave and become an Elvis impersonator along with the financial help of Betty and Earl Owen’s he slowly progressed.. I never heard of him after that until his passing RIP

A very sweet man. There was a childlike quality about the way Mike saw the world that I found charming. We had fun, and I’m so sorry that he’s gone.

I knew Mike back during his Mike El days. What a sweet, fun guy he was. I just learned of his passing. A soul that kind deserved a longer life. Saying a prayer.

Mike, I was sorry to read of your dad passing.  It was always good to see him at the snoball stand and he was so proud of the van he had gotten to take on the road for his shows.  The last few times I saw him was when he retired to stay with your grandmom and then when he closed up her home up here.

Mike & I grew up together and joined the police dept. together I really miss the early years. A lot of good memories from the past when I heard his name he will be greatly missed.  Rest easy old friend.

So sorry to hear of your passing.  We will always remember growing up together in Baltimore--all of the cousins hanging out together and spending time with Uncle Joe & Aunt Boy. When we moved away, we caught back up when your were doing the entertaining.  Those performances were filled with lots of wonderful music and great laughs. In later years, you continued to share fun memories and make us laugh. You will be missed but remembered always~

Mike, we first met on May 31, 1971 on the first day of the BCPD training academy.  We've maintained our friendship ever since that day. We've taken great trips together, played golf together, hunted together and even para-sailed together, but most of all we laughed a lot and I think that's what I'll miss the most. You left way to early on your last trip.  I hope your final journey will end as you have expressed so many times.

You were so kind, thoughtful and loved by many.  You will be missed.

I can't except the fact you are gone even though I was with you at the end.  Mike was part owner of our hunting cabin in WV and we hunted and golfed and did about everything together.  He was part of my family. We were police together in the olden days.  As I told Mike before he passed, I will be able to tell Mike Lewis stories for the rest of my life. I will surely miss him for the rest of my days.  He was like a brother to me.  Rest in peace brother.

As I found out today of your passing my heart grew heavy with sorrow, i remember the days we worked Narcotics together I remember the good work we did together and all the fun we had in addition to the job.  I remember you always were singing Elvis songs and I would tell you to knock it off as we cruised the east end, the thing that sticks in my mind you told me one day I would be paying to see you sing for which I did several time.  You Mike were an entertainer a guy with so much talent but most of all you were a good person who passed way to soon and you will be missed but remembered by many my Friend, may your travel to the Lord be  a smooth ride and continue to sing Mike as you were one of the best out there.

Your kindness and being so soft spoken was my first memory of you when we were kids in school! I guess you were brought up to respect others. That made it easier to respect you. The soft spoken guy evaporated with that awesome cape and the microphone in hand. Dang, you were good! 
I must tell your family you were well liked by a multitude of teachers and students, especially your peers from the class of 68 OHS.

I know, when you walked into Heaven, the angels rejoiced and your loved ones, already in Heaven met you with open arms.  I am certain, they were very, very happy to have you, once again, with them.
