Manager, Paul W. On January 18, 2013, Paul W. Manager passed away; he was a resident of Hart Heritage Assisted Living in Street, Maryland for the past 5 ½ years. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret D. Manager (Nee Clark); devoted father of Judy Hiob and her husband Art, the late Bonnie Rogers and her husband the late Michael Rogers, Deborah Rathell and her late husband Edward Rathell and Lou Ann Jasper and her husband Gary Jasper. He is survived by his sister Doris Olsen and her husband Bob, Betty Williamson and her husband the late George Williamson, his brother Thomas Manager and his wife the late Elaine Manager, and predeceased by his brother Robert Manager. Paul was the devoted grandfather of eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews. His second marriage was to the late Marie Manager (Nee Vyskocil) and is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Hook and her husband James, her son Frank Bowman and his wife Sue; Paul had two step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.

Paul was a Baltimore City Fire Department Captain (acting chief) and a retired Fire & Safety Director at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was recognized as one of Harford’s “Most Beautiful People” for his volunteerism, community service and humanitarian activities. He was a great outdoorsman enjoying crabbing, fishing, hunting and camping. He was an avid football Baltimore Ravens fan and baseball Baltimore Orioles advocate.

Friends may call at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Road (at Route 24) on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be said on Wednesday, 10:30 am at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church, 141 N. Hickory Avenue in Bel Air. Interment: Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to his dedicated caregivers at Hart Heritage Estates.

I will always be thankful for the moments I shared with pop pop Paul. I came to know what a wonderful person he was and really enjoyed talking and sharing many meals with him at Lou Anns kitchen table. I will keep him and all the family in my prayers.

My thoughts are with Pauls family . He was a very special man to his family and to his second family at Hart Heritage Paul was loved by all. I will miss him dearly. And I just no that we are going to win the super bowl for Mr.Paul you will be with us in our hearts that day and every day . We love u.

Paul was a wonderful member in the Bel Air Knights of Columbus. He was a tremendous help to the veterans at Perry Point Medical Center for quite a few years.
We will miss this very fine gentleman.
