Rena Fitzgerald Sturgill

On May 26, 2021, Rena Fitzgerald Sturgill passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Ezra Ben Sturgill; devoted mother of Michael B. Sturgill and his wife Darlene, Lynda Gail Griffin, Gerald M. Sturgill and Sharon Kuhn; dear sister of Melba Cooney, Shirley Howell, Jo O’Neill, Gary Fitzgerald, and the late Willie Fitzgerald; loving grandmother of Jason Griffin, Joshua Sturgill, Jessica Dorsey, Nathan Sturgill, Katy Johnston, and Haley Sturgill; and cherished great-grandmother of ten great-grandchildren. There will be a scattering of ashes ceremony held in Piney Creek, North Carolina on June 14th, 2021.
