Richard Paul Lewald

On October 20, 2020, Richard Paul Lewald passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Lewald (nee Middleton); devoted father of Karen Buscemi and her husband Chuck Cheelsman, Michael Lewald and his wife Kristen, and Susan Roegner and her husband Jerry; loving grandfather of eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; dear brother of Harry Lewald, Jr. and his late wife Joan, and the late Thomas Lewald, Sr. and his late wife Joan; cherished uncle of Lynn McPherson and Tom Lewald, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, of Bel Air, 610 W. MacPhail RD, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 1-3pm and 5-7pm. A funeral service for Richard will be held on Monday, at 11am, at the funeral home. Interment services will follow at Highview Memorial Gardens.
