Rita Helen Werner (nee Muczynski) passed away on August 21st, 2026, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Martin Werner, she is survived by her son Joseph Werner, Jr., his wife Natalie, her daughters Denise Werner and Donna Werner, and her granddaughter Brittany Ganong. She is the dear sister of Regina Lentz, the late Theresa Stray, and the late Daniel Muczynski.
A visitation will take place at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD, 21014 on Thursday, August 27th, 2026, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm.
A graveside service will be held at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, located at 809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Friday, August 28th, 2026, at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rita's name to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital or Harford County Humane Society.
