On December 4, 2021 Bob Cavanaugh passed away. He was born in Michigan on June 19, 1929 to James and Violet Cavanaugh. He was the beloved husband of Peggy Cavanaugh (nee Gohlinghorst); devoted father to his step-children, Theresa Marszal (nee Fowler) and her husband Jay, and Joseph Fowler; cherished grandfather of Jamie, Jaclyn, and Stephanie Marszal. Bob was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was also an avid golfer and hunter and loved his family dearly. He was a member of St. Margaret Parish in Bel Air, MD.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014, on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 3-7 PM, where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to Pets for Patriots, Inc., 218 E.
