Robert James Finck, “Bob,” age 82, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Bob was the beloved husband of Paulyne, married for 59 years and together for 65 years. He was a devoted father to Debbie and Joanne; loving grandfather of Mason, Ayden, and Grace; dear brother of Rita. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary, and older brother Paul.
Early 2025 brought an unexpected cancer diagnosis for Bob, which he faced with grace. Despite facing the challenges of the quick spreading illness, he remained a beacon of hope, strength and inspiration to his family.
A faithful servant of the Lord our Savior, Bob was known for his selflessness, generosity, wisdom, and helping others. He left an indelible mark on the hearts and lives of family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, church and community constituents.
A receiving of family and friends for Bob will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
