On February 8, 2020, Rudolph "Rudy" Anthony Sacilotto passed away; beloved husband of the late Betty Jane Sacilotto (nee White); devoted father of Michelle Raines and her husband Jerry, Jim Bowman and his wife Evelyn, and the late Sandy Killian and her husband John; cherished grandfather of Steve Bailey, Laura Lynsky, Melissa Casey and her husband Robb, Dan Bowman, Jerry Raines, Jr., Jessica Raines, Russel Raines, and Tiffany Raines; loving great-grandfather of Nathan, and Emma Casey, Devin and Sydney Bowman, Alec, Adam and Brianna Bailey, Mackenzie, Bryce, Rhoman, and Hayden Raines; dear brother of Pete, Gus Henny, Joe, Mike, and Mary. Rudy is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Amelia Sacilotto.

HIs Parents came to the United States from Naples, Galabria Italy in 1912, where they raised him, and his 5 brothers and 1 sister. He was a proud Navy Seaman, who served in WWII. He retired from Bethlehem Steel, and moved to Delaware with his sweetheart, where they made many friends and spent cherished time with family. He was a devoted family man, who loved his sweets and dancing with his bride, he enjoyed fishing, and hunting, he loved his Ravens and the Lord. He never met a stranger, and told the best stories. His favorite song was, One Day at a Time. He will be greatly missed, and his legacy will forever be alive in the love of his family he leaves behind.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, 610 W. MacPhail Road, on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.

Never Forget Uncle Rudy walked me down the aisle when I got married.he was always so sweet and had Tons of stories and jokes.He made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I thank the Lord he knew Jesus. We will all miss Uncle Rudy.
