Stanley Louis Nelson, age 88, of Perryville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Born October 24, 1932 in Baltimore, MD to the late Mildred (née Dashiell) and Walter Nelson. Stanley is survived by his beloved wife Anne (née Hanks). Surviving in addition to his wife are his son Dennis (Jenny) Nelson, daughters Diane (Jack) Williams and Donna (Brian) Eastlake, stepson Allen Rakes, stepdaughters Connie Cooper and Sandra Wilson and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother Charles Deckman and sister Joann Nelson.

Stanley was a U.S. Army veteran who fought in the Korean War, was wounded and was the recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
