Sylvanus Peter Weaver (Pete) passed away on February 27th, 2026, at the age of 93. Beloved Husband of Geraldine Candelaria Weaver. Loving father of Susan Fudge and her husband Paul. Loving grandfather of Haley Fudge. Cherished uncle of Debra Reid (Jeff). Proceeded in death by his dear siblings Elizabeth, Gene, Bill, and Sam. Loving special father of Karen Mrozinski, Lynn Candelaria- Tress, Jeff Candelaria, and Mark Candelaria. Cherished special grandfather of Nicholas Mrozinski and his siblings, as well as other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cherished special uncle to nieces and nephews. And dear brother-in-law of John Bartkowiak and his wife Joan Worthington.
A visitation will take place at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., located at 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD, 21014 on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, from 2-6pm, with prayers beginning at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sylvanus’ name to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.
