

Teresa Carol Wienholt unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at the age of 67. Terry is the beloved wife of 47 years to Robert Gerard Wienholt; devoted mother of Robert Gerard Wienholt Jr. and his wife Leah, Laura Teresa Brookshire and her husband Brandon, Thomas Lawrence Wienholt and his wife Erica, Joel Andrew Wienholt and his wife Erica, and Kassandra Jean Carpenter and her husband Christopher; loving grandmother of Benjamin, Madison, Jeremy, Andrew, Austin, Nicholas, Eli, Andi, Naomi, and Emery.
Teresa was born on June 28, 1954, in Baltimore, MD. After graduating from Western High School in 1972, she worked as a cashier at the New Theater where she met Bob on her first day. They quickly began dating, immediately fell in love, and were married June 22,1974. As best friends and business partners, they built a beautiful life raising their five children and working hard to build and manage movie theaters in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware. She knew the business inside out and could do any job in the theater. Terry touched many lives through her leadership as a business owner and manager, and all of her children learned to work hard in the family theaters with their parents. Later on, she turned her love of baking into another business with her daughter, Sandy. She was always willing to grow, learn and try new things at work and at home.
Terry was an excellent party planner and loved to host family gatherings. She was always happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her passion and talent as a decorator both in the theaters and her home brought much beauty into this world. She loved to garden and spent many hours outside with her grandsons even adding trains to her garden to involve them. She loved to travel, enjoying camping with her kids when they were young, getaways with her dear husband, Wienholt women weekends, and especially dozens of trips to Disney World with her family. She grew up an only child and cherished her large and loving family who will miss her tremendously. She will be remembered as a very humble, hardworking, generous, and loving person.
Family and friends will gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. (610 W. MacPhail Road Bel Air, MD 21014) on Thursday, March 17th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Teresa's Life Celebration Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18th the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. Interment in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD. In lieu of flowers contribtution s may be made in Teresa's name to the Casey Cares Foundation, 7100 Columbia Gateway Dr Suite 155, Columbia, MD 21046.
