

William “Bill” P. Oxenford, 69, of Odenton, MD, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, surrounded by his wife and children. He was the husband of Patricia “Patti” Lynch Oxenford, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage.
Born on February 27, 1957, in Chester, PA , he was the son of William J. Oxenford Jr and the late Paula Feezer Oxenford. Bill grew up in Thornton, PA and graduated from West Chester East High School. Bill joined the United States Air Force in November 1976 and served with distinction for eight years before being honorably discharged. Bill received his Associate’s Degree from the Community College of Baltimore County, in December 2001.
He enjoyed watching classic black and white movies and spending time with his wife and children, as well as family and friends. He was also an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and dog lover.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by two sons, William “Billy” Oxenford of Odenton, MD and Brandon Oxenford, of Abingdon, MD, and one daughter, Brianna “Bri” Oxenford of Parkville, MD. He is also survived by his sister, Sharon (Robert) Huss of West Chester, PA and sister-in-law, Terri Oxenford Petro of Earleville, MD, Aunt Elizabeth “Betty” (Al) Dallaire, and Aunt Marjorie “Margie” Hamilton, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula “Polly” F. Oxenford, and brother, Russell “Rusty” K. Oxenford.
Relatives and friends may gather for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 between 11 am and 3 pm, at Evolved Catering, located next to Natalie’s Seafood Kitchen, 2315 Belair Rd Unit B5, Fallston, MD 21047.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following charities: Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, or the Hero Rescue, located in Bel Air, MD.
