Dear Cousin,
I will always remember so many things from all the hours I spent at your home with your parents. New Year’s Eve feasts; Sunday pasta; sitting on the marble steps in the summer chatting with passing neighbors while the transistor radio played the Os game. Your Mom’s pineapple upside down cake! The toast lovingly left out on the stove top each night so it wouldn’t be soggy when she packed Uncle John’s lunch at 0dark30 each morning. Clancy the cat slinking down the steps for a visit. The smell of your Dad’s pipe. Your parents were/are so proud of you and your brother. I loved being teased by you and Tim. There’s a comfort knowing that you and Uncle John and Aunt Rose are chatting and loving together. I am sure the sound of your Mom speaking in Albanese with Aunt Anna is filling your big heart with a smile, while the smell of sauce bubbling on the back burner is soul expanding. I will miss you. But I know I will see you again. Because love never dies. Hail The Traveler, until we all meet again!

MY SISTER AND I WOULD WALK FROM SETON HIGH SCHOOL TO 27TH ST WHERE AUNT ROSE, UNCLE JOHN,DAN AND TIMMY, WHICH WE USED TO CALL HIM LIVED AND WE BECAME KNOWN AS THE MOOCHERS!!! WE SHARED SO MANY LAUGHS AND NONSENCE WHICH WENT ON AND ON. WE ALSO WENT SLEDDING IN WYMAN PARK ON THOSE LONG WINTER NIGHTS. KEN AND I ARE SO SADDENED BY YOUR DEATH DAN BUT I AM ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT YOUR ETERNAL REST WILL BE FAR BEYOND WHAT WE AS MORTALS CAN COMPREHEND. YOUR FAVORITE COUSIN CAROL ANNE.

My memory of Dan is him always being there to lend a helping hand. He has really been there for me and my sisters. When we went through a very rough time financially he purchased my daughter Jennifer's wedding gown to help with the cost. Here he would come with his tool belt, always had to have Jenny with him to hand him things lol. He had a heart of Gold and has really been there for my grandchildren since they lost their Poppie in 2008. I love you like a brother Dan and will miss you terribly, I just know that you are with Bob up in heaven cracking jokes about us! With My Deepest Sympathy Love Ronda Williams

My favorite memories are the times Dan and I shared at his home on 27th street when we were in high school. I was a frequent visitor and shared many meals with Aunt Rose, Uncle John, Dan and Tim. He called me the Moocher.

Other fond memories were the times he tried to teach me how to drive his car and play tennis. Both were total failures!

I will never forget the wonderful times we shared!
Cousin Barb Glover
