Daddy's Little Girl

I was happy to be with you,

Proud to be your little girl.

Sometimes we would argue,

But to me you meant the world.

You treated me as your own.

Your time seemed all too short and

What can I take from this?

My heart is completely crushed.

Dad, I will miss you endlessly. Even though we had miles between us you were only a thought away. My heart is truly hurting, but I know our Lord will mend it and I will always feel the love from you in the memories of our lives. I love you dad, forever!

From Lester L. Laursen (Dusty)- There are too many good memories to try and list them all here. A few that stand out though, would be Butch shooting me with a BB gun(Ouch!!! That Hurt!!!) when we were growing up. Riding for miles and miles on our bikes just to go fishin and him protecting me from the bullies when I was in 7th grade. I was so shy and he always seemed to show up right when I needed him. To me...he was my PROTECTOR. I miss him more than I can say. We NEVER once told each other "I love you" but we did,  I'll say it now, "I love you my brother Butch and you will ALWAYS be in my heart."

From Cindy Laursen - I remember us all meeting at Six Flags in St. Louis and all the fun we had. Butch was like some little kid having the time of his life on all the rides. I instantly took to Butch, Bobby and Rhonda the moment we met. And wish dearly that we had made more of an effort to try and get together as often as possible. And to get a chance to meet Butch's other kids I've not met yet. One story Dusty told me that has stuck in my memory was, Butch and Dusty had trapped a woodchuck and kept it for awhile to try and make it a pet. Butch was carrying the woodchuck one day like a baby with it snuggled up close to his chest when it bit him and left a little scar on his left chest. I wonder if he still had that scar after all those years or if it had faded. They named the woodchuck, Woody. LOL
I'll miss you Butch and all the fun times.

 I WILL ALWAYS MISS MY UNCLE ANTHONY(BUTCH). IF IT WAS NOT FOR HIM I WOULDN'T BE HERE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. CAUSE I REMEMBER HE CALLED OR WROTE MY MOM & TOLD HER HE HAD THIS GUY THAT HE WANTED MY MOM TO MEET SO MY MOM PACKED OUR THINGS & WE GOT ON THE BUS & HEADED TO TEXAS WHERE I'M STILL AT TO THIS DAY. I LOVE & MISS YOU SO MUCH UNCLE ANTHONY(BUTCH) LAURSEN.

I did not get to know you personally but I did get to know you thru your sons Tim, Tony and your daughter Tina. And hopefully will get to know more about you when I get to meet your daughter Rhonda and your other 2 sons Christopher and Lanny Joe. Through my eyes you have wonderful children who loved you dearly and will keep your memory alive.

There are so many memories of Butch, but the thing I remember the most is his high pitch "he he".

i will always miss Anthony (Butch) my uncle . we had alot of good times togather and i will miss him very much . i love you uncle Butch

Butch was alway a grate person,i never seen him get mad,he was a awesome dad to his kids and from what i seen a good husband to his wife,the best thing i remember is he always called me christy pisty and joked with me...R.I.P Butch he was loved by alot of people and still is...

Anthony is my dad he always put his family first over anything even his heath he will be greatly missed I Love you dad its so hard without you here but we know that you are watching over us and that you are the brightest star in the sky Love Always And Forever Your Daughter Rhonda Lynn Elliott

I will greatly miss Anthony.  He use to rent from my dad, Elmer Mckinley, I always felt a sense of peace when he was a renter because he was always there to help my dad out and to watch over him. My dad was getting older and was doing repairs etc. that he shouldn't have been doing. My father told me when I needed a tow to call Eckert and ask for Anthony.  Anthony has since towed not one but all of our trucks vehicles for the last 20 years. Each tow was around a stressful situation that always brought me relief seeing Anthony drive up. He would joke about it and bring a since of calm to the chaos. I always joked about that we, my family, knew our tow truck driver by his first name. I found out he had his heart attack the day that he came out that morning to tow our truck. I will greatly miss his wonderful smile. I was blessed to know him. For the family we were put here to help one another out. Anthony did that. LifeQuest church on North Scott where the old Harley Davidson building was Is a great down to earth relevant place to go if the pain is too much, remember we are her to help each other out. God help  you thru this
