Beverly Sue Hubbard, 80, passed away at home on April 2, 2011, after a long battle with cancer. A funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Belton Christian Church, Westover Road and Airway Lane, Belton, Mo. There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Beverly was born in Gallatin, Mo., on March 25, 1931, to Guy and Georgia Long. She lived in Belton most of her life and was co-owner and operator of Hubbard Plumbing. She enjoyed her family and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Dallas Mavericks fan. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Don Hubbard; her daughters, Connie Hubbard of Belton, and Donna and husband David Timmermann of Brookfield, Ill.; brother, Ernie Long and wife Nancy; brother-in-law, Gene Hubbard and wife Marcia.
