I just found out this afternoon that dear sweet Brett, my nephew died. Although I have not seen him in years, I have nothing but sweet memories of a good little boy who was the apple of his grandparents eyes. I remember when he was a very little boy, and I was getting ready for prom. He asked me if I would go to prom with him when he grew up. Yes he was taken way to soon, but the good ones always are.

Dear Ken, Please visit this memorial website of a 43-year-old young man that served on the U.S.S. FORRESTAL. I didn't know if you have a listing for FORRESTAL personnel that are no longer with us on your website. In the picture tribute, you will see several Navy photos of Brett on the FORRESTAL. I didn't know Brett personally, but I'm best friends with a man (Jamie Young) that worked with Brett when he was an electrician for CEI. I thought someone associated with the FORRESTAL should also know about Brett. Thank you, Larry Garrigus

Although I barely knew Brett, the service this evening was a testament to his spirit and love. The crowd that came to honor him was an amazing sight and truly shows you how much he was liked and how many he touched. You will truly be missed. My condolences go to the Bauer's and to Tracy. God bless all of you.
