Carolyn Fogle, 88, of Peculiar, Mo., passed away August 1, 2010, at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville, Mo. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, at McGilley & George Funeral Home, 611 Chestnut, Belton, Mo. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at the funeral home. Burial in the Belton Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church or Grace Hospice. Carolyn was born April 29, 1922, in Tulsa, Okla., to Virgil and Marcina Foltz. She was a lifelong resident of Peculiar and a member of the Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church. Carolyn was a homemaker, farmer, a great wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by husband of 42 years, James E. Fogle in 1984. Survived by sons, James E. Fogle, Jr., Kansas City, Mo., and John E. Fogle, Peculiar; daughter, Janice C. Sapp, Gladstone, Mo.; five grandchildren, one great granddaughter and seven great grandsons.
