

Rev. C.T. (Bill) Christensen, 97, of Belton, died peacefully at Belton Regional Medical Center on the afternoon of Monday, June 19, 2017 while surrounded by family and loved ones. Billy, as he was known, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy who served in World War II, a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and a licensed and ordained minister of the Free Will Baptist denomination who pastored several churches during his lifetime.
Billy is survived by his wife, Juanita Christensen of the home; daughter Linda Majors, of Belton; grandsons Sean Majors, Kelly Majors and Scott Christensen; granddaughters Nikki Williams and Rebecca Majors and 7 great grandchildren. Bill and Juanita were married for 72 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings and by his son, James T. Christensen.
Services will be at Central Free Will Baptist Church, 3200 Blue Ridge Ext. in Grandview, MO. Visitation 5:00-7:30 pm Friday, June 23. Funeral service 11:00 am Saturday, June 24.
