Dennis F. Roach, age 83, of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 25, 2023 surrounded by his family. Mr. Roach was born at home, November 7, 1939, in Norborne, Missouri. He graduated from Norborne High School. He then served three years in the United States Army Engineers in Alaska as a Specialist 4. After being Honorably Discharged from the Army, he moved to Lee's Summit, Missouri where he lived the last 60 years of his life. He worked for and retired from Ford Motor Company after 33 years.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donna M. Roach; two sons Doug Roach (Annette) and Wesley Baker (Heather); four daughters Denise Roach, Annette Starforth, Paula Smith (Donel), and Tammy Maley Randy); 20 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Dennis's Life with a pot luck will be held at 1pm on October 7, 2023 at VFW Post 5789, 329 SE Douglas Rd. Lee's Summit, MO 64063. An inurnment with military honors will be 1:00pm October 13 in Floral Hills East Cemetery, 25203 E Hwy 50 Lee's Summit, MO 64086.
