Dear Emma and I played bridge together on many occasions at the Bridge Deck club. I was touched by her sweet, fun and positive personality. She was devastated by Gary’s death and tried so hard to find peace and move forward alone. Eventually she started taking care of herself and would tell me about her new interest in exercising and weight loss. Before the pandemic my last and most vivid memory of Emma was helping her carry her delicious homemade pecan pies into the Bridge Deck club for all her friends to share. She was so proud of this family recipe and would ask if anyone had ever had a pie as good. She loved playing cards and many times when she was unable to drive , I would pick her up at Fiddlers so we could play together. When COVID 19 struck, I spoke to her a few times and became worried when she stopped responding. I was so shocked and saddened to learn of her passing .My deepest sympathies to my friend Emma’s family. She spoke lovingly and often of you all. Rest In Peace my friend ❣️🙋🏼‍♀️

Emma was my classmate at Belton High School and we kept track of each other until about a year ago. She was a good basketball player and a lovely friend. I will miss her e-mails and good thoughts she always sent.

I meet Emma several years ago in exercise classes. What a beautiful lady. She always had a smile on her face, and a twinkle in her eye. When Emma came to exercise class she was always dressed and accessorized so nicely. No slubby t-shirts and baggy pants for her. I often thought she was heading out for a luncheon afterwards. I soon came to realize, Emma was a lady who simply always looked good. In Tai Chi, she moved with such grace, even though it was difficult at times. In Chair Conditioning she had fun. We'd laugh and hug, and Emma gave fabulous hugs. We attended a luncheon together, and Emma regaled us with stories of her life. Much laughter was heard during that luncheon. She was a joy to be around. I will miss her smile, her hugs, her positive energy, and her laugh. She was a kind and gentle soul. Aloha Emma.

Like their license plates it was always Emma AND Gary. Two dear people in my life. We are all fortunate to have ever met them. Emma, I mourn your passing, but you and Gary are together again. God bless both of you.
