Joel came by Linweld and I gave him a tour of what we do in the welding industry and introduced him to a few people who remembered his uncle Charlie Canterbury. Joel had a wonderful, wry smile and a great heart.  I can't help but think he was a deep thinker, gifted, and had a tender heart.  I sent him off with a collection of welding information and tried to keep in touch with him over the past year.  I wish I could have done more.  Don't we all?  Life can be so short.  My prayers are with you parents.  I can't imagine your pain.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Joel's family.  I knew him as a security guard at CenturyLink.  He was very helpful early on a Saturday morning in August for a meeting.  He always had a smile and made me giggle with his choice of shoes with his guard uniform.  He will be missed!

i knew Joel at work, as the security guard at Centurylink he was the fist person i saw each morning. he always had a smile and a cheerful good morning. over time i looked forward to seeing him in the morning and our short conversations. he was always a brite start to my day. Phil
