Joey graduated from homeschooling with a diploma from Families for Home Education, Class of 2015. Following graduation, he joined the US Army and completed training as a combat medic. Joey went on to join Job Corps and completed training for Certified Nursing Assistant. He had dreams of completing college and earning a degree as a Registered Nurse. Joey had faith in Christ and we may take comfort knowing that we will see him, again, one day in Heaven.
Joey was never married. Surviving, in addition to his parents, Bryan and Jaime Roach, are his sister, Lisabeth Nicole Roach, of Lee’s Summit, MO; half-siblings: Heather, Kyle, and Dakota, of Harrisonville, MO; and daughter, Lydia Celeste Clarke (4 months old), of Little Rock, Arkansas; maternal grandparents, Charles L. Wilson and Remi Wilson; Charles R. Lear and Carol A. Lear; paternal grandparent, Barbara A. Roach; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
