Kathleen D. Voorhees, 82, of Belton died November 15, 2011 peacefully at home. Visitation 10-11 am Saturday, November 19 at McGilley & George Funeral Home in Belton. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 am in the Belton Cemetery. Contributions suggested to VFW 8220 Auxiliary Relief Fund. Kathleen was born March 19, 1929 in Pleasant Hill, MO to Herbert and Bernice Miller Dickerson. She was a lifelong area resident and a life member of the VFW 8220 Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Fred. Survived by sons, Stan and Elaine Voorhees of Grandview, Danny and Sheila Voorhees, David Voorhees, Ronnie and Crystal Voorhees all of Belton; 9 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
