Remember whatever is chosen,  needs to  be on the table as close to 11:00 as possible.
Now that we've eaten and passed the toothpicks around it's time to get the table cleared , and the cards out.

  The few time he and Aunt Patty came to Grandma Moxley's  for a dinner, I always thought he was a  movie star as he was SO handsome and had a beautiful smile, but I guess he was meant to  be a builder.  We had a great time visiting at the dinner in Belton a few years ago. 
  May our Lord grant you peace and great memories of him.

I am fortunate that I was able to know you Grandpa both when I was boy and as a man. Many do not get the opportunity to know their Grandfather through each sets of those eyes and I am forever grateful that I was able to.
As a boy, we would spend evenings on the back porch talking, relaxing, watching the birds and squirrels go about. We would go to the lake marina to feed fish, the park to play ball, morning garage sales after a big breakfast and ambled walks around the neighborhood. You taught me the games you enjoyed. Many a weekend we would play pool, ping pong and cards together. From these moments a bond was formed.  Not obliged by blood nor by responsibility but because it was intrinsic.
As a man, I am at a point in life now where I get to watch Kellan and Dad play and share their time together as we did. Memories flood back of our moments at that stage, when I watch them. A smile and warmth come over me, both in the reflection back but also in knowing they have each other and that bond as well. Also with time, I was allowed to have a better understanding of who you became, what you have been through and the output from how you lived your life. So many stories I am now able to relate to or at the edges of them, find empathy where I was unequipped to in youth. Some of my favorites were what it was like being the youngest of 15, growing up during The Great Depression. Your first car (Model A), the Coast Guard during WWII and raising a family. I enjoyed listening to where you built and the houses you constructed, but the Home you built, I believe is your best story of all. You created a home for your family to gather, a place for laughter, a refuge from troubles and an environment where love grows through generations.  
So much of you goes forward Grandpa. I do not know if you know but I was listening and I was watching. Both in your words and in your actions. I will carry them ahead with me and share them in my journey.

Sure have some great memories of building houses with my dad and uncle Lawrence. I remember it was winter and uncle Lawrence made hot tea in a cold basement he was working in. It sure hit the spot. I also enjoyed the old family pictures in his tribute movie. Thanks cuz’s

I met Lawrence Clark by asking for permission to marry his daughter Carole Sue.
In the years since, he taught me  the fine points of Carpentry,  Golf,  Pitch,  and when it's acceptable to wear plaid. ........( always )

When my  Father and Mother passed in 2000 & 2001, the ( in-law ) part was dropped from Larry & Pat's official title.
I made them adopt me !!

I had the pleasure of being Lawrence Clark’s Nurse for the past several years. He was such a sweet and gentle man!  He had the best smile and disposition. He literally would walk circles around us Nurse’s!  We only dreamed of getting the miles he walked everyday!  RIP Lawrence!  You will be greatly missed ❤️

To his dearest family and friends, I sincerely extend my deepest sympathy! It was so nice to get to know his family through the years!  I’m truly sorry for your loss.
