Lela Marie Bailey Myers Ham, 96 was born in Kansas City, MO on April 11, 1925 to William C. “Jack” and Thelma L. Bailey. She passed away on February 3, 2022 at Beautiful Savior Home in Belton, MO, where she was affectionately known as “Aunt Lela”. She graduated from Adrian High School in 1942. She married Arthur W. Myers in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1974. She married Robert F. Ham in 1976 and he preceded her in death in 1993. Lela previously lived in Harrison, Arkansas, Omaha, Nebraska and Grandview, Missouri. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed traveling, crafts, and music. She was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church. She was a past Worthy Matron and 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star (OES), Raytown Chapter 97. She was also a past Grand Guardian of INBJD (Job’s Daughters).
Surviving family members include her only daughter Jackie McEvoy; 2 grandsons Donald McEvoy (Angela Bastien) and Clifton McEvoy (Calla Pappas) and their 3 children all from Omaha, NE; Step-children Roberta Stevenson of Colorado Springs, CO, Robert E. Ham of Littleton, CO, and Nanci Napoli (Jesse, Jr) of Bridgeton MO; Step-grandchildren Jesse Napoli III (Jennifer), Tony Napoli (Kelly), Vincent Sheffer (Toni), Bruce Cameron (Diana), Carrie Goodman (Dale Creel), Steve Cote (Debbie), and Michael Cote. She is also survived by her lifelong friend Jane Bryan of Grandview MO.

Visitation is from 10-11 am Saturday February 12, 2022 at McGilley George Funeral Home, Belton, MO. Funeral is at 11 am and burial to follow at 12 pm at Brooking Cemetery in Raytown, MO
