I had the distinctive pleasure of knowing Lillie for more than half my life. In those 25 years, she was at times a mother to her sons friends. We always knew her home as a welcome haven even when our own home wasn't. We never went hungry at Lillie's, we were assured to receive equivalent heapings of wisdom. It is customary to speak of the departed as being in a better place, but Lillie didn't believe in boundaries and it is why her spirit is everywhere. She remains forever etched in the inner walls of our hearts and will be forever permanent in the dim warehouse of memory.

Even though I may of been a pain in your butt, just want you to know that you were my one and only grandma and always will be. Thank you for always being there for me and my boys. You'll always be in my heart. I love you Grandma.

wish i couldve got to know u more n better in person. time slipt away too fast n now ill never get that chance again but ill always keep the memories we did share in my heart. i love u grandma. ill miss u forever. :'(
