I too had the privilege of working with Mark at Shawnee Mission North. A hard worker with a smile on his face, always there to give a helping hand. He worked tirelessly making sure the grounds of the school looked beautiful, and was an important part of the North family! Prayers of Peace and Comfort for the family. RIP with the Angels!

I’m saddened to learn of Mark’s leaving this world. We were fortunate to work with him at Shawnee Mission North and missed him when he transferred. Mark was such a kind, helpful man with a sweet and funny sense of humor. I’ll remember our conversations with much fondness. Sending heartfelt condolences to his family.

Mark was amazing! I was fortunate to work with Mark at Shawnee Mission North for about 19 years. Mark always had a smile on his face and didn't know the work NO! Even after Mark went to work for the grounds crew for the district he ALWAYS came in the office to see us! A bright light has gone out way to soon. Fly high Mark. We will miss you here at SMN.

Mark always went above and beyond and Shawnee Mission North and was missed terribly when he was transferred out. He used to save the pencils for me to recycle back to students, placing a huge bundle on my desk periodically. I appreciated his understated way of being straight-forward and knew if I ever needed help or if anything needed fixing, he would get it done. I will remember him always and fondly - my deepest condolences to the family of which he spoke of often and lovingly.

My prayers are with Gina & Emily during this sad time. Lots of new normals to come in your futures, but always remember that Mark is with you. He's in your hearts and in your memories. Cherish those memories. I'll always remember the quiet guy that said hello when you arrived and then went to the garage to listen to whatever was on the radio that day! He was much loved. I love you both.

My heart is heavy for you, Regina and Emily.

I can't help but think about those summer days you girls hung with him when you were in school. Him hanging with the boat while you girls did your thing.

You're in my prayers. God's peace be with you now and in the coming months.

Much love,
