Marvin Onesimo Ramirez

Marvin Onesimo Ramirez, beloved son of Onesimo and Haydee Contreras Ramirez, went to be with Lord on March 21, 2016 at just 23 years old. Marvin, born on February 18, 1994, was born with a heart defect requiring a heart transplant on March 22, 1994. Although the span of his life was short, Marvin lived his years full of love, surrounded by family and friends. He graduated from Raymore-Peculiar High School in May 2013 and then from Excelsior Springs Job Corp in August 2015 as a medical technician. Marvin worked for St. Luke’s Medical Group but shortly thereafter, he had to stop because of his deteriorating health. In February 2017, he was being evaluated for another heart transplant. The Lord had other plans for Marvin. He is at home with his Lord and Savior free from suffering.

Marvin is survived by his mother and father, Onesimo Ramirez and Haydee Contreras. He also leaves his sisters Luz Gonzalez, Lucero Rice, Karen Ramirez, and Kimberly Ramirez.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Pastor Michael Wessberg, the Ramirez family and McGilley & George Funeral Home in Belton. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with a visitation from 12:00 to 1:00pm, Saturday, March 25th, at Faith Baptist Church, 414 S. Franklin St. Raymore, MO. The burial will take place at Belton Cemetery.
