Ramona was born August 8, 1930 in Hickman Mills, Missouri. She was a long-time area resident. Ramona was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Evansville VFW Post 1114 Ladies' Auxiliary, Ashland Kentucky Hillbilly Lodge Clan #54 and a Lady Shriner. She was also a member of the Christian Church and loved arts and crafts.
Ramona was preceded in death by her mother Helen McHenry Cunningham and sister Rowena Miller. She is survived by her husband Donald H. Merrick; sons Ronald Merrick (Karen) of Raymore, MO and Michael Merrick of Evansville, IN; grandchildren Kerry Boehm (Jeff), Shanann Stone (Chad), Josh Merrick and Ashley Rives (Jeff); 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Ramona will be inurned in the Locust Hill Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana at a later date.
