

Timothy John Decker, II, 28, of Belton, Mo., passed away August 9, 2011. Funeral services 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Community of Christ Church of Grandview, 12600 Byars Rd. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the church. Burial in the Belton Cemetery. Contributions suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Timothy was born Aug. 14, 1982, in Kansas City, Mo. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church of Grandview. He graduated the Class of 2000 at Belton and his favorite sport was Soccer. He was an avid fan of the KC Chiefs and Royals. Timothy completed his studies at Longview Community College and was enrolled at the MO Institute of Science and Technology to become a Mechanical Engineer. He was a certified Medical Assistant for a Cardiologist in Houston, Texas, and currently worked as a cook at Bob Evans. Survived by his parents of the home, Timothy and Laurie Hendry Decker; brother, Christopher Decker, Belton, Mo.; girlfriend, Kim Addison, Raymore Mo.; maternal grandparents, Robert and Rose Hendry, Croswell, Mich.; paternal grandparents, Roger and Lois Decker, St. Louis, Mo.; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.
