Vickie L. Dodge 71 of Raymore, MO passed away Aug. 4, 2018 surrounded by her family. A Memorial service will be held 1:00pm Friday, August 10 at the Belton Christian Church, 409 Airway Lane, Belton, MO 64012. Visitation will be prior to the service 11am to 1pm. Burial in the Belton Cemetery. A reception for relative and friends will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Saint Luke’s Home Care Services and Hospice, In care of Saint Luke’s Hospital Foundation 4225 Baltimore Ave KC, MO 64111.
Vickie was born March 20, 1947 in Independence, MO. She was the daughter of Frank and Marge Bowen. She was united in marriage with Jerry Dodge in 1988. They enjoyed over 30 years of marriage living in Raymore, MO.
Vickie worked for several different animal feed companies in the customer service department. She became lifelong friends with many of her co-workers and customers. She was dedicated to helping others and often volunteered for different charity organizations and churches.
She is survived by her loving husband Jerry Dodge, son Brian Luce (Jody), daughter Kim Loman (Clint), stepson Jamie Dodge (Debbie). Grandchildren Justin, Molly, Allison, Amanda, Mitchell and Olivia, and brother Kenny Bowen (Sharon).
