Virginia Louise Mosby

VIRGINIA HIGGINS MOSBY Virginia Higgins Mosby of Belton, MO passed away November 7, 2018. She was born January 7, 1928 to Joe and Annie Higgins. She married the love of her life, Leo Mosby who preceded her in death January 1992. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Joe and Annie, sister Fay, brothers Gene and Ted and good friend Loretta Gray. Virginia was active in girl scouts, ran the baseball concession stand, volunteered in the local hospital and was the first volunteer in the Belton Historical Society Thrift Store. Survivors include daughter Cindy Tootle (Ray), son Jimmy Joe Mosby (Mary), grandchildren the Tootles, Michelle (Gary Sapp) Brian (Kathleen), the McBrayers, Shawn (Brandi), Brian (Lesly), Jeremiah (Betsy), great grandchildren Laney, Gentry and Colby Tootle, Ben, Joey, Raquel and Brett McBrager, sister-in-law Faye Wallace and nieces and nephews. Visitation 4-5 pm, Memorial service 5:00 pm Saturday, November 10 at McGilley & George Funeral Home 611 Chestnut, Belton. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Wayside Waifs. First our family's prayers and condolences to Virginia's family including JimmyJo and Cindy. I remember the many family get togethers when we were just kids and the fun we all had. Its at these times when you remember more enjoyable and fun times. I wish we could be there to attend the services as our thoughts are with you.
