Ann C. Nelson

Ann C. Nelson, 76 of Beverly Hills, Florida died in the loving care of her family on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was born on Sunday, December 5, 1937 in New York, New York to Charles and Frieda (Zsadanyi) Gaylord. Ann was a retired saleswoman with Sears in Pompano Beach, Florida and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was an excellent homemaker and enjoyed sewing and quilting. Ann cherished her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is her loving husband of 59 years and friend of 61 years, Tillman Lee Nelson of Beverly Hills, Florida. They were high school sweethearts and met at Miami-Jackson High School. Also, surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Lee Nelson, Jr. of Margate, Florida and Steven Nelson of Coconut Creek, Florida; daughter, Vanessa Petersen of Pompano Beach, Florida; sisters, Helen Hummel and husband Noel of Redding, California, Linda Varrati and husband Mike of Beverly Hills, Florida and Charmaine Wilde of Beverly Hills, Florida; grandchildren, Tillman Lee Nelson, III and wife Amie of Margate, Florida, Brian Nelson of Tampa, Florida, Brent, Katie and Tara Nelson all of Margate, Florida, Tiffany and Brittany Nelson both of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Christian Lee Petersen of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Candice Petersen of Deerfield Beach, Florida and great grandchildren, Chase Walker Petersen of Coral Springs, Florida, Tillman Lee Nelson, IV of Margate, Florida and Brayden Nelson of Margate, Florida.

Memorial Service of Remembrance, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church, 935 S, Crystal Glen Drive, Lecanto, Florida 34461.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church or Hospice of Citrus County.
