Barbara Ann Purcell

Barbara Ann Purcell, 82 of Lecanto, Florida died on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. She was born in Bellevue, Ohio on Tuesday, September 4, 1928 to Imon W. and Adabelle (Purcell) Walters. Barbara was a member of North Oak Baptist Church in Citrus Springs, Florida and a retired secretary. She enjoyed puzzles, bingo and was a member of the Women in Construction, while in Pinellas County and moved from there in 1976 to this area.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; Terry Scott in August of 1990 and Earl Purcell in June of 2001. Her daughter, Patricia Webster and brother, William Walters also, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Scott and wife Pat of Crystal River, Florida, Terry Scott and wife Jennifer of Homosassa, Florida and Gregory Scott and wife Debra of Crystal River, Florida; daughter Brenda L. Taylor and husband Robert of Homosassa, Florida; brother, Gary Walters and wife Marti of Seminole, Florida; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation, Friday, December 17, 2010 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM with a Chapel Service to follow at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida 34465. Interment at Fero Memorial Gardens with Reverend Stan L. Stewart officiating.
