She was born in Queens, New York and moved to Florida in 2006 to enjoy the Florida sun.
Barbara enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, going on cruises, and was very crafty, she liked to sew and knit. She volunteered at the Citrus Springs Civic Youth Committee.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Joseph Sclafani, two daughters Colleen (Robert) Rothermel and Laurie (Chris) Gabrielli, brothers John Ford and Ed Costello, sisters Susan Tripler and Ann Ford, seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 16, 2024 from 6 PM- 9 PM at Fero Funeral Home and Life Celebration Center, 5955 N. Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
