

In 1957, Beverly married the love of her life, Artie Cassell. Together, they built a family rooted in love, faith, and community. A devoted Catholic, Beverly’s life was a reflection of her deep spiritual values and commitment to serving others.
She is survived by her daughter, Laurie LaFrance; her son, Christopher Cassell; and her grandchildren: Constance Cassell, Jessica (Colin) Fraser, Mathew (Jessica) LaFrance, Danielle LaFrance, Miranda LaFrance, Tama Nail, and Devin Moore. She also leaves behind 17 great- and great-great-grandchildren who brought her endless pride and joy.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Artie Cassell; her son, Arthur “Skip” Cassell; and her son-in-law, Billy LaFrance.
Beverly raised her family in Newton Falls before moving to Cranberry Lake, where she remained deeply connected to her community. Later in life, she relocated to Florida, where she continued to cherish time with family and friends.
A passionate and lifelong volunteer, Beverly was active in the local fire department and its auxiliary, even serving as an ambulance driver for many years. She also worked at Derby’s pharmacy in Star Lake and contributed to the family store and marina, always offering a helping hand to those around her.
Beverly will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering faith, and spirited personality. Her favorite poem, “When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple,” embodied her vibrant, independent spirit, always evident in her beautiful smile and the mischievous twinkle in those blue eyes.
Beverly will be laid to rest alongside her husband and son at St. Hubert’s Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
