Carl V. Morrow

Carl V. Morrow, 71 of Hernando, Florida died on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He grew up in Russellville, Alabama and was the son of the late Claud and Pearl (Green) Morrow. He was born on Sunday, April 18, 1943 in Sheffield, Alabama.

Carl was a purchasing and contracts administrator with Burns and Roe, an engineering and power construction company, in Oradell, New Jersey for over 20 years. He began his career in the space industry with Boeing in Huntsville, Alabama. During his career he also, worked for Litton Industries in Pascagoula, Mississippi and U.S. Lines in New York City. Retiring in 2007, Carl and his wife moved to Hernando. Carl enjoyed golfing, SEC football and was an avid Alabama football fan.

Carl was preceded in death by his nephew, Justin Morrow.

Survivors include his wife, Karen (Burke) Morrow of Hernando, Florida; son, Joshua Morrow of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Ashley Morrow of Kona, Hawaii; brother, John Morrow of Birmingham, Alabama and sister, Syble Coats and husband Gordon of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was also, survived by numerous nieces and nephews: Sara Morrow, Jessica Morrow, Brittley Graviet (Kris), Rebecca Reynolds (Stephen), Elizabeth Boyte (Don), Gene Vinson (Serena), Melanie Williams (Kevin) and Patrick Burke.

Memorial Service of Remembrance took place on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 12 Noon at Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills, Florida.
