Carlene was such a inspiration to many. To have her as a cousin was a pure joy. Never once would I speak to her that she ever complained about her illness or how she was feeling, she always was worried how you were doing. She fought with grace and dignity through it all. Her love for her family was endless and her children and grandchildren were her world. She loved everyone she met and treated them as family. She will be missed by so many and will be with her husband and oldest son again now living and resting in peace. Love and miss you cuz.

I didn't know Carlene but I knew her husband Ronnie. When we were kids we called him Ronnie Dale.. We called his brother John John. Ronnie was one of my first cousins. My dad was his mom's brother. My dad was Herbert Ellis who went to heaven 5 months before Ronnie did. I have great fun memories of Ronnie and his brother. John John was the quiet one and Ronnie Dale was talkative. They both had a great sense of humor. I loved Ronnie and I am glad he has a wonderful family. I love Face Book. That is how I have "met" Ronnies precious family.
