

Charles E. Hoffman, 81 of Ocala, Florida died on Sunday, August 26, 2012 in the loving care of his family and Hospice of Marion County. He was born on Tuesday, October 28, 1930 to Charles and Ellen (Mahan) Hoffman. Charles was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean conflict. He was retired after more than 25 years as an operations manager for Allied Fueling at the J.F.K. airport. He enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes, building furniture and enjoyed bowling, mahjong and playing bocce at Oak Run, where he was the captain of the team. He will be missed by his family, friends and his pet dogs, Max and Heidi.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Ronnie Hoffman of Ocala, Florida; sons, Charlie Hoffman and wife Teri of Porter Corner, New York, Craig Hoffman and wife Trish of Chicago, Illinois and Bret Hoffman of New Hampshire; daughter, Lori Espey and husband John of Long Island, New York; grandchildren, Matthew, Jesse, Katie, Megan, Alyssa, Craig Jr., Amanda, Kaylyn, Austin, Makayla, Nicholas, Stephanie, Samantha and Daniel; great grandchildren, Cameron and Braedon; Ronnie's daughters, Lisa Cruz and husband Robert of Long Island, New York, Dawn Montemarano and husband Michael of Long Island, New York and Wendy Stapleton and husband Eric of Citrus Springs, Florida and Ronnie's grandchildren, Melissa, Steven, Lauren, Michael, Stephanie, Jeffrey and Leah.
Visitation, Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Fero Funeral Home. Chapel Service at Fero Funeral Home on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with a Mausoleum Chapel Service following at Fero Memorial Gardens.
