Charles Harold Scott

Charles “Scotty” Harold Scott, age 94, of Beverly Hills, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026.

Scotty was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He shared 73 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Marie Scott. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with family, adventure, travel, and countless memories.

Scotty proudly served in the United States Air Force for more than 20 years before retiring. Following his military career, he opened and operated Camp America Travel Trailer Business, which he enjoyed for 15 years.

Traveling and fishing were among Scotty’s greatest passions. He and Marie traveled throughout the United States, discovering places they loved and making memories along the way. Alaska became one of their favorite places, and they eventually built a home there. Scotty especially loved salmon and halibut fishing and cherished being able to fish right from their backyard.

To his family, Scotty was lovingly known as “Papa.” He loved his family fiercely and took great pride in each of them. His love, strength, humor, and adventurous spirit will live on through the many lives he touched.

Scotty is survived by his beloved wife, Marie; his three children, Dave Scott (Denise), Steve Scott (Brandi), and Sandy Latimer (John); his grandchildren, Amy, Stefanie, Laura, Emily, Virginia, Tyler, and Ryan; and his great-grandchildren, JJ, Faith, Harper, Lila Mae, Maddox and Lennox, Charlie, Lillie, and Bryson. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who loved him dearly and will miss him greatly.

Scotty leaves behind a legacy of love, service, family, and adventure. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
