

Clifford was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, June 1, 1935, to Clifford and Othelia Brown. He is survived by his loving wife, Marlis. Marlis and Cliff married in Las Vegas in May of 1992. Clifford served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force; mostly in the Far East. While there he developed his passion for the Martial Arts and became very involved in Karate; attaining his 7th degree black belt in his style of Katai Te Ryu. He continued to teach karate for many years after his retirement in Las Vegas. Clifford loved going to the gym which he considered his “second home.” His former students testify to a very positive influence he had on their lives.
Clifford is also survived by his children: Angela (Marty) Gorman, Anthony (Tracy) Brown, Clifford (Amy) Brown, Chiaki (Chris) Lowrey and Ronald (Susan) Dick. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Nicholas, Kristin, Trevor, Kaia, Reed, Sean, Zachary, Jordan and Gemma. Clifford also has one great grandson: Liam.
Clifford was a loving, devoted husband, and enjoyed training his dogs and taking them on long walks. After 43 years living in the Nevada Desert, Cliff and Marlis decided 3 years ago to relocate to the beautiful Sunshine State of Florida.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2 PM at Fero Funeral Home, Beverly Hills, Florida. In honor of his service, Military Honors will be rendered at 2:30 PM.
