Daislyn McClanahan

She was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the age of 62. She is survived by her son Jon-Pierre Antonio Gaymon of North Hills, PA, her mother Milly Rene McClanahan of Ocala, FL, sisters Loretta Goins of Ocala, FL and Lyvon Upshur of The Villages, FL, her brother Cornelius McClanahan Jr. of Newark, Delaware, daughter-in-law Dana Gaymon of North Hills, PA, granddaughters, Jocelyn and Aliyah Gaymon, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Daislyn known by her family and friends as Daisy (Daisy May by her mom) grew up with a strong Christian faith and love for the Lord. She is also known for her gentle heart, quietness of spirit and her moments of infectious and hilarious laughter. Those who knew her were touched by her kindness and willingness to always be of help to others.

During her youth she acquired musical talent playing the organ and clarinet. She also enjoyed roller skating, badminton, volleyball, holla hop, sewing outfits for special occasions and being competitive playing all manners of card games.

Most of all Daisy will be remembered for her love and devotion to her grandchildren who could do no wrong and were the twinkle in her eye whenever she spoke about them. She will also be remembered for being a loving and caring mother to her son, who was her best friend; they were inseparable and enjoyed many fun times together.

Furthermore, Daisy was a dedicated and valued employee at Reed Technology and was looking forward to retirement. Instead the Lord had a better plan for her, free of pain, suffering, tears and nothing but joy and peace in the Kingdom of the Lord.

A visitation for Daislyn will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home with Crematory, 5955 North Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL 34465. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5955 North Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL 34465. A committal service will occur Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Fero Memorial Gardens, 5891 North Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
