Dale was born in Lakewood, Ohio to Susan (Warholic) and Alexander Komives. Dale graduated from Lakewood High School in the class of 1969.
Dale married Diane (Dick), the love of his life, in 1992, who together enjoyed over 32 years of marriage. He was the cherished father of Mark who he adored raising and watching grow up to graduate from college.
Dale enjoyed working on antiques especially cars and radios. He was active in numerous car clubs in both Ohio and Florida, having served as former Vice President of both VTCI- Heartland Chapter in Ohio and AACA- Kingdom of the Sun Chapter in Florida. Dale also loved watching films with friends and loved ones and was proud of his time as a former motion picture operator in IATSE Local 160.
Dale is survived by wife Diane, son Mark, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother.
Visitation for Dale will be held on Monday, July 1st, 2024, from 10am to 12pm (noon) at the Craciun Funeral Home located at 14925 Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130. A graveside service will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, Ohio.
