Don was born and grew up in Maryland.
He and his wife of 40 years, Ann Stafford Jones, owned and operated GreenArisin’, an indoor landscaping company in Northern Virginia for 36 years.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Ann, his mother, Ellen Jones, Siblings, Lynn Bottey, Janis Clavier, And Cary Jones. He was a devoted husband, a loving son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald T. Jones Sr.
Don was an entrepreneur. His many talents and attention to detail led to a thriving handyman business. He had a passion for the outdoors, especially fishing. He cherished his time on the water, casting a line and enjoying the tranquility of nature. He was a devoted animal lover and enjoyed his feline children, Scooter and Lolly.
Don was passionate about his family, cared deeply for mankind and believed In equality for all people. He will be sorely missed.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Fero Memorial Gardens, 5891 N. Lecanto Hwy. Beverly Hills, Fl 34465 on Saturday, February 1 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Vitas Healthcare 3280 W Audubon Park, Lecanto, Fl. Or the American Cancer Society.
