

She was born on March 23, 1920 in Baltimore County, Md., the daughter of Charles G. and Anna Sandmann.
She was a member of Salem Evangelical Church in Catonsville, Md.
She was primarily a homemaker. She worked as a payroll clerk for the Dickey Woolen Mills in Ellicott City, Md. and at the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida as an accountant for United Technology Corp. on the Titan program.
She is survived by three children, Rosemary Ryan of Hillsboro, Ohio, Charles Ruhl III of Chester Springs, Pa. and James (Kae) Ruhl of Rancho Cordova, Calif.
In addition, she is survived by grandchildren, Deirdre (Paul) Garringer, Rory (Pam) Ryan, Bridget Ryan, Kathleen (Chris) Fuller, Rondine (Joshua) Roach, Catherine Ruhl (Jack Kemp) and Jason (Janaye) Ruhl; great-grandchildren, Caitlin (Stephen) Forsha, Meghan (Jeff) DiMario, Colin Ryan, Jacob Groves, Samuel Groves, Sophie Groves, Claudia Fuller, Bridget Kemp, Samantha Kemp and Madeline Roach; a sister, Ethel Wich; and special friends, Ana and Augustine Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Charles A. Ruhl, II, who passed away on Sept. 18, 1997.
Also preceding her in death were a grandchild, Charles A. Ruhl IV; great-grandchildren, Clifford C. Roach and Caleb Groves; three sisters, Blanche Virginia Lutz, Dorothy Vain and Edith Senneseth; and a son-in-law, Charles M. Ryan.
Services will be Monday, June 12 at the Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills, Fla.
