

Frank Lanzilotta, 89, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast and his loving family. He was born on April 25, 1928 in Inwood, NY to Peter J. and Adeline Marie (Pastor) Lanzilotta.
Frank grew up in Westbury, NY. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army where he had worked as an automotive mechanic. He was a supervisor in the parks department for Nassau County, NY. He retired in July of 1992.
Frank married Jean Piscitelli on May 25, 1952. They were happily married for 65 years.
Frank was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the St. Anthony Society, and the Sons of Italy. He was an avid gardener and loved bowling.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Peter, Nathan, Michael, George, and Louis; his sisters Philimena, Angelina, Josephine, Francis, Rose, Madeline, and Virginia.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Jean, of Beverly Hills, FL; his son Peter (Jeanne) Lanzilotta of Crystal River, FL; his daughter Adele (Steve) Belden of Inverness, FL; grandchildren Frank Lanzilotta, Anthony Lanzilotta, Stephanie (Shannon) Belden and Danny (Elisha) Belden; his great-granddaughter Alexia Belden; his brothers Sal and Lee Lanzilotta; his nieces and nephews and other relatives.
A celebration of his life will be held at Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills, FL on Friday, June 30 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Dunnellon, FL on Saturday, July 1 at 10:00 am. A military burial will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
